Robert Puhak

Although not an artist himself, Bob Puhak has a long history with the arts. Family artists and art lovers fostered an environment that sparked Bob's appreciation from a young age. That passion was nurtured through the years and has lasted a lifetime. With a broad professional background across engineering, technology, finance, education, and research, as well as public service in charitable organizations, politics, and municipal government, Bob understands the integral and vital role that art plays across numerous disciplines and society at large. He is committed to the mission of JCAS and the multiple benefits it has and will continue to deliver, significantly enhancing the culture, educational opportunities, and commerce of our community.

Charles Robertson

Chuck is an Art Director at the New York graphic design firm Doyle Partners. With Doyle Partners he has worked to develop print, packaging, and identity work for a variety of clients such as Scholastic, Time Warner Cable, Miramax Books, the U.S. Green Building Council and more for over twelve years. Chuck holds a summa cum laude degree in Chemistry and Fine Art from Colgate University as well as a Fine Arts degree from the Cooper Union in New York. A resident of Cranford for nine years, he is an active Cub Scout leader, and hopes the river doesn't flood again. He joined JCAS as a volunteer in 2003.

Deborah Leber

Deborah studied art at the Art Students League in NY, NY. She has won many awards for her paintings and is included in several books, magazines and corporate collections. Deborah became a resident artist at the Torpedo Factory in Old town Alexandria, Virginia shortly after leaving NY giving her the opportunity to create work and sell at the facility. Little did she know after moving here with her husband and son in 1992, that it would give her the idea that it would work in Cranford, NJ. In 2000 she founded Jersey Central Art Studios with the goal of finding space to create visual art studios that would be open to the public. Along the way in realizing this goal she led JCAS in createing  many art events and art educational opportunities for the public that have served over 8 counties in NJ broadening its scope every year.

JCAS board consists of people with many talents and backgrounds that believe art can make a difference in a life and a community.

Mark Dugan

Mark has been a Cranford resident since 1985 and is has been a practicing commercial litigation as an attorney since 1984. He is currently a Township commissioner.

Paul Casale

Paul is a member of the Society of Illustrators, Oil Painters of America / Associate Member, Mid Atlantic Plein Air Painters, Artpride New Jersey, The Jersey Central Art Studios, The Guild of Creative Arts, The Somerset Art Association, The Ridgewood Art Institute, Landscape artists International and The Plein Air Painters of The Jersey Coast.

David Leber

David Leber is currently Senior Director of Marketing at Schering-Plough, responsible for the marketing of SP's Oncology product portfolio world-wide. David has a long background in marketing and sales management holding senior level positions at Sanofi-Aventis, Bristol-Myers Squibb and Quest Diagnostics. Born and raised in Cleveland Ohio, he receiving a BBA from Kent State University, he went on to earn a MBA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Outside of work, David is an avid fisherman, enjoys guitar and building wooden ship models and has recently taken up model train building.

Anne is Major League Baseball's Vice President of Design Services, she has lived in Cranford for most of her life, and is the perosn who creates the "look" for the MLB. She joined the board of JCAS in 2007.
